SKEMA/MBA Semester Abroad Program
at GIST SIP campus

GIST and SKEMA work together in partnership to develop the international exchange program. With the commencement of the GIST-SKEMA academic collaboration, the SKEMA’s MBA students will have the opportunity to participate a 1 to 2 semesters of the exchange program in GIST SIP campus, while the undergraduate students will participate in 1 year exchange program.

Academic Courses

The courses conducted in the exchange program will be:
1. Introduction to China
2. Multi-Cultural Management
3. Doing Business in China
4. China Economic & Political System
5. Corporate Law
6. Hanyu

China Immersion Teaching Environment

All courses under this program will be conducted in Suzhou in English except for the Chinese Hanyu language and culture courses which will be conducted by professional Chinese Hanyu language teachers who can also communicate in English.

Earning Credits Towards The Relevant Degree Program

Students who successfully complete this program will earn credits which will be recognized as part of credits earned in their degree program.

Additionally, upon the successful completion of the hanyu language course, students will receive a certificate of attendance from SJTU-GHCC which is affiliated to the Confucius Institute.

GIST (Global Institute of Software Technology) is a Jiangsu government approved IT specialist college. Its IT syllabus is set up in conjunction with Microsoft (China) Co Ltd and with Suzhou Science City in the Hi-Tech Park.

GIST has 2 campuses.

The GIST Xin Qu campus is located in Suzhou Hi-Tech park area in the western part of Suzhou. Its facilities can accommodate 10,000 students.

The SIP Campus is located next to Hong Kong University Space College, adjacent to the Suzhou Science & Technology University collaboration; all of which come under the umbrella of the Global EduTech Management Group (GEM) educational investment holding and management group.
